A one-off creation, mini bodyboard, ‘The Sea Potato’.
Expertly hand crafted out of a discarded bodyboard that would have otherwise gone to landfill.
The polystyrene core has been skillfully resurfaced in naturally growing cork and its base covered in bamboo veneer. Cork is a wonderfully soft, light, yet extremely strong and flexible material. Its membrane-like properties also make it waterproof and airtight.
The Sea Potato bodyboard is a beautiful, fun example of how to turn a waste product into something new…and far better quality then when it started.
Due to it reduced size, soft surface and being light-weight, the ‘Sea Potato’ would make a perfect child’s bodyboard. It also fits into a standard large suitcase so perfect to take away on holiday or for a trip away.
